Terms of Use

Launch blocker: the service operator's legal name, address, governing terms, and qualified legal review are still required before these terms can become effective.

These terms apply to BeatSync API, including the API website, documentation, demo, and API endpoints made available through RapidAPI. By using the API, you agree to use it only for lawful audio analysis workflows and in accordance with the plan limits shown on RapidAPI and this website.

API access

  • Public access is provided through RapidAPI. API keys, subscriptions, billing, plan changes, and cancellations are managed by RapidAPI.
  • Public analysis requests must use multipart/form-data with a form field named file.
  • Launch plans are Basic and Pro. Both use a 10 MiB file limit and a 120 second audio limit.
  • Both plans use a Hard Limit with no overage. Current price, monthly quota, and rate limit are the values displayed by RapidAPI at purchase.
  • We may reject requests that are malformed, unsupported, abusive, too large, too long, or likely to harm the service.

Rights and responsibilities

  • You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and analyze any audio you submit.
  • Do not submit recordings involving children, medical or health information, identity verification, biometrics, or other regulated sensitive uses.
  • You are responsible for your application, your users, and any output or decisions made from API results.
  • BeatSync API returns timing estimates. Results may vary by audio quality, musical structure, file format, and processing conditions.

Billing, refunds, and availability

  • 4xx responses caused by invalid, unsupported, too large, too long, unauthorized, rate-limited, or quota-exhausted requests are user-side errors and may count under RapidAPI's rules.
  • 5xx service errors, including 503 and 504, are eligible for manual review when they consume paid quota or create a charge without a usable result.
  • Email support with both the request ID and task ID, timestamp, plan, and response code. After verification, support may issue a credit or refund through the available marketplace process. Credits and refunds require manual review and are not guaranteed before verification.
  • The service is provided without a formal SLA unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Prohibited use

  • Do not upload malware, abusive files, or traffic intended to attack processing systems.
  • Do not use the service for children, medical decisions, identity verification, surveillance, or biometric inference.
  • Do not attempt to bypass RapidAPI quotas, access controls, rate limits, or security checks.
  • Do not resell raw API access as a pass-through service without written permission.
